Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a CNC Machinist in Quedgeley (near Gloucester). The role involves setting and operating 3- and 4-axis CNC milling machines with Haas controls to produce precision components, reading engineering drawings and following CAD data and written instructions.

You will inspect parts using appropriate equipment, self‑inspect to maintain quality, and complete documentation while keeping a clean, organised work area. Shift work on AM/PM cycles is required.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC machines (any control system; HAAS training available).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Flexible to shift patterns; able to work rotating AM/PM shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good timekeeping and housekeeping.

Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location:Quedgeley
Pay Range:£37,000 inclusive of shift allowance
Contract Type:Perm - Double Days

Working hours: week 1 06:00am to 14:00pm Monday to Friday and week 2 14:00pm to 10:00pm. Early finish on Friday 11:00 am on AM shift and 7:00pm on PM shift
