Shorterm Group is partnering with a renowned manufacturing and production company, a key supplier of high-quality components across various industries in the UK. With a significant focus on the aviation sector, they are committed to delivering precision-engineered components to some of the biggest names in the industry.

Position Overview: They are seeking skilled and experienced CNC Setter/Operators to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals proficient in Milling or Turning, who can immediately contribute and thrive in a fast-paced, high-precision environment. While programming experience is not essential, a solid background in CNC operations is required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set and operate Mazak CNC machines (Milling or Turning).
2. Ensure components are manufactured to tight tolerances.
3. Maintain high standards of quality control.
4. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator.
2. Proficiency in either Milling or Turning.
3. Ability to work to extremely tight tolerances.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
5. Availability to work double day shifts.

Location: Fareham, UK

Position: CNC Setter/Operator (Milling or Turning)

Salary: £16ph - £18ph + 1.5x overtime rate

Hours: Full-time, Permanent. Double days - 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 11pm, with an early finish on Fridays for the late shift.
