Job summary

Jobswipe Premium is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Surrey to set up, program, and operate Mazak mills/turns and Fanuc-controlled CNC machines. You will read engineering drawings and manufacture high-precision components for aerospace/defence sectors, with attention to tight tolerances.

The role offers day and night shifts with a night premium and long‑term opportunities on a full-time, PAYE basis. Effingham, Surrey-based site in a niche precision engineering environment.

Qualifications

Experienced CNC Machinist with Mazak mills/turns and Fanuc controls.
Proficient in CNC milling/turning and setting/operating machines.
Ability to read engineering drawings and produce tight tolerance parts.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components.
Interpret drawings and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
Maintain quality and tooling, follow process instructions.
