Job summary

Pertemps are working with an established manufacturing business located in Alton who are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operative to join their growing team.

You will set and operate two CNC machines (predominantly lathes), inspect your own work, read technical drawings and use mills, drills and gear hobbers. Based in Alton, hours are Monday to Thursday, 7am - 5.30pm, with a rate of £14 - £15 per hour and 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service).

Qualifications

• Experience in setting and operating CNC machines.
• TIG welding experience is advantageous.
• Hard working and reliable with good attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a small manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating of two CNC machines, predominately lathes.
• Inspection of own work to ensure quality standards.
• Reading technical drawings.
• Using lathes, mills, drills and gear hobbing machines.
• De-burring; manual turning/milling.
