Job summary

Chester Hall Precision Engineering Limited is seeking skilled CNC Machine Operators to join its Wickford, Essex team. You will operate 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machines to produce complex aerospace components, ensuring accuracy and quality across the full range of parts.

Training is provided as needed; the role includes a 37.5-hour week with various shift rosters. This permanent position offers a strong opportunity to work with a world-class supplier in aerospace manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience running 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining centres (minimum 1 year).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with measurement tools such as micrometres.
• Understanding of engineering terminology.
• Knowledge and experience in maintaining CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machines to produce aerospace components.
• Ensure parts meet engineering drawings and required tolerances.

CNC Machine Operators within the aerospace parts CNC machining industry

Location: Wickford, Essex, SS11 8YB
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Shift Rota: All available. 7am - 3pm; 3pm - 11pm & 11pm – 7am (premium paid for 3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am shifts)

Chester Hall Precision Engineering Limited is now currently recruiting for fully skilled CNC Machine Operators to join their expanding team based in Wickford, Essex.

Using multi-axis, high-speed CNC machine tools, the successful candidates will be responsible for the machining of a full range of aerospace components.

The CNC Machine Operator will be required to run 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC machine centres producing machined precision aerospace components.

Attributes required:

• Computer literate – Office based software
• Knowledge of engineering drawings
• Good understanding of engineering terminology
• Able to use various measuring equipment e.g. micrometres
• Knowledge of running 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC machining centres (at least 1 years’ experience)
• Knowledge and experience of maintaining CNC machines

Training will be ongoing if required.
