Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is handling an immediate opportunity for a CNC Programmer/Setter (Turning) on a weekend-only, 12-hour shift contract. The role is inside IR35 and runs for 3 months on a rolling basis.

You will program, set and operate CNC lathes to produce high-precision components per drawings and tolerances, and inspect parts for quality. Proven experience with Fanuc controls and reading engineering drawings is required, with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision components in line with drawings and tolerances.
• Inspect components to ensure they meet drawing tolerances and required quality.
