• Knowledge of precision engineering and machining to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Creating and editing CNC programmes to optimise production efficiency.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Selecting the correct tooling and setting machines for production.
• Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances.
• Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Making programme adjustments to improve cycle times and maintain quality.
