Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd is seeking a CNC Lathe Programmer / Setter Operator to join the West Bromwich team. You will program, set and operate CNC lathes to meet production plans while maintaining high quality and machine utilisation.

Experience with Haas or Dugard VMC (Fanuc control) is preferred. NVQ or C&G in Mechanical Engineering / CNC Setting & Programming, along with the ability to read drawings and use precision measuring tools, are required. Forklift licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Competent in using engineering measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Program, set, operate, and monitor CNC lathes to meet production targets.
• Ensure machines run efficiently with minimal downtime.
• Carry out job and tool changes, ensuring smooth production flow.
• Produce and gain approval for first-off and in-process quality checks.
• Maintain accurate real-time production records.
