Job summary

Masstemps Ltd is seeking a reliable CNC Laser Machine Operator to operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring safe, efficient production and quality standards.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using measuring equipment, and working within a rotating shift pattern. Full training is provided, with overtime paid for weekend hours and a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machine operating experience is essential.
• Experience with CNC laser machines is desirable.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments where required.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Record production data and report any faults or issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

• 06:00 – 14:00
• 14:00 – 22:00

Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable CNC Laser Machine Operator to operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring all products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments where required.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Record production data and report any faults or issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous CNC machine operating experience is essential.

Pay & Benefits:

• Rotating shift pattern (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00).
• Saturday and Sunday hours paid at 1.5× the standard hourly rate.
• Full training and ongoing support provided where required
