Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd are recruiting for a CNC Miller - Programmer / Setter / Operator to join a busy manufacturing facility in Wakefield. You will set up, program and operate HAAS 3-axis vertical machines on a night shift, producing precision components to tight tolerances.

Qualifications

Proven experience setting, programming and operating HAAS CNC milling machines.
Programming experience is highly advantageous.
Ability to use precision inspection and measuring equipment.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
Ability to produce components to tight tolerances.
Good health and safety awareness in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Set up, programme and operate HAAS 3-axis vertical machining centres (VF2 to VF9).
Manufacture precision components to drawings and tolerances.
Carry out in-process inspection using appropriate measuring equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
Maintain high quality, accuracy and workmanship.
Keep the work area clean, organised and safe.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Undertake additional duties to support production.
