Job description

Shift Pattern:

AM Shift: 05:30am - 1:30pm, Monday to Friday

PM Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Thursday (8:00pm finish on Friday)

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Grinder to join a market-leading manufacturing business in the Worcester area.

Duties:

• Producing a wide and varied range of high-tolerance parts used in the manufacture of CNC machines.
• Understanding Fanuc CNC controls and able to program, edit, and improve existing and new parts.
• Working within a team of engineers to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
• Promoting a positive culture among staff by engaging in H&S improvements and kaizen initiatives.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding.
• Experience in safely operating and setting CNC controls.
• Previous experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Programming from drawings using Fanuc CNC controls (desirable).
• Completed a mechanical engineering apprenticeship (desirable).
