Job summary

Morgan Ryder Associates are looking for an Estimating Engineer with a strong CNC machining background to join their Hampshire team. You will produce quotations for complex components and review drawings to choose the most efficient manufacturing route, estimating cycle times, tooling and production costs, with hybrid working and clear scope to grow your territory.

You’ll collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal engineers to win profitable business for a world-class precision

Qualifications

• The most important thing is your CNC machining knowledge.
• Estimating experience is welcome but not essential if you have the right machining background and are keen to develop into the role.

Responsibilities

• Produce quotations for complex precision-machined components.
• Review engineering drawings and determine the most efficient manufacturing route.
• Estimate machining cycle times, tooling and production costs.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
• Support new product introduction from RFQ through to production.
• Help secure profitable new business for a world-class precision engineering manufacturer.
