Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting two CNC Breakdown Engineers for its client’s sites in Nottinghamshire. You will respond to machine failures, identify root causes, and repair CNC milling/turning centers to minimise downtime and keep production running.

The roles require an apprenticeship and Level 3 engineering qualification, plus a solid machine tool background and 5+ years CNC maintenance experience. Training 4–6 weeks, then rotating days, afternoons and nights.

Qualifications

• Completion of a relevant apprenticeship and Level 3 engineering qualification.
• Solid engineering background within the machine tool industry.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in CNC maintenance.
• HSE regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, problem solving and planned and preventative maintenance on CNC machines.
• Work with initiative and minimal supervision.
• Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement.
