Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting two CNC Breakdown Engineers to support maintenance teams at Sherwood and Mansfield sites. You will diagnose, repair and prevent downtime on CNC milling and turning centers, taking first response to machine faults.

Candidates should have an apprenticeship and Level 3 engineering qualification, plus at least five years in CNC maintenance and a solid machine-tool background. Expect shift rotations with training and site-based roles.

Qualifications

• Completion of a relevant apprenticeship and level 3 engineering qualification.
• Solid background in the machine tool industry.
• Minimum 5 years experience in CNC maintenance.
• Good knowledge of HSE regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fault finding, problem solving and planned and preventative maintenance on all CNC machines.
• Able to work under your own initiative with minimum supervision.
• Minimising downtime
• Support all aspects of continuous improvement
