Job description

Applications Engineer / CNC Applications Engineer / Machine Tool Applications Engineer required for a supplier of CNC Machine Tools and automation solutions.

The Applications Engineer / CNC Applications Engineer / Machine Tool Applications Engineer will be responsible for meeting clients in the East Coast of the USA to demonstrate, train, install and provide support with their Machine Tools / CNC machinery and to diagnose and repair faults with a variety of CNC Machines.

The Applications Engineer / CNC Applications Engineer / Machine Tool Applications Engineer will ideally live in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey or Delaware and be expected to cover these states when meeting clients.

The ideal Applications Engineer / CNC Applications Engineer / Machine Tool Applications Engineer will have a strong technical background with CNC Machinery / Machine Tools and have experience using CAD/CAM software.

Package:

$90,000 base salary

Hybrid role with travel to clients expected across Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and occasionally Delaware

Responsibilities:

• Meet clients across the East Coast of the USA to demonstrate, train, install and provide support with Machine Tools / CNC machinery and to diagnose and repair faults with a variety of CNC Machines
• Build relationships with clients and provide aftersales support
• Support with technical issues via Teams and face to face
• Support the internal sales team with technical problems
• Complete CNC Machine assessments and ensure customer satisfaction
• Create demo programs for showrooms and exhibitions
• Provide accurate costing on products
• Give technical presentations to clients on CNC Machinery / Machine Tools
• Hybrid role with travel to clients across Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and occasionally Delaware

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an Applications Engineer / CNC Applications Engineer / Machine Tool Applications Engineer or experience servicing or working on different CNC Machinery / Machine Tools
• Prior experience using CAD/CAM software
• Located in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey or Delaware and happy to travel to client sites when required
• Full driving license
