Job summary

Anglia Plastics in Biggleswade is seeking an experienced CNC Setter or Operator to join our CNC team. You will set and operate 3-axis machines and develop programming skills with on-the-job training.

We offer a permanent, full-time role with day shifts and competitive pay, plus a company profit share and a range of staff benefits. Training on CAD/CAM software is available to help you progress.

Qualifications

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tolerances.
• Good practical skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of precision measurement and machining.
• Hands-on approach with pride in producing quality work.
• Willing to develop 3-axis programming skills with training.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating 3-axis CNC machines.
• Producing components accurately to drawings and tolerances.
• Selecting and setting materials and tooling.
• Carrying out first-off and final quality checks.
• Reading CAD drawings and specifications.
• Completing routine machine checks and reporting issues.
• Developing programming skills with team support and training.
