Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Setter in Bedford to set and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines. You will interpret detailed drawings, apply GD&T, and work on high-precision components for world-leading research projects.

The role is days-based (7am-3pm) on a 38-hour week with overtime/shift premiums and training. A background in Heidenhain controls is desirable; training is available for other systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding GD&T principles and tight tolerances.
• Training available for other control systems.

Responsibilities

• Set, program, and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills.
• Work from engineering drawings to maintain accuracy.
• Manage multiple machines to meet production schedules.
• Maintain high quality and documentation for routes.
