You should have experience working in an office environment, supporting colleagues, and working within deadlines for government and Arts Council England surveys. A strong team player with the ability to work independently and support a positive public-facing role is preferred. Enjoyment of varied tasks and collaboration across departments is important.

The Community Music Service (CMS) is a well-established music service based in the borough of Barking & Dagenham, East London. It is a national award-winning service and leads the Barking & Dagenham Music Education Hub. CMS delivers instrumental lessons, Whole Class Ensemble Teaching, and smaller group and individual lessons. The service regularly rehearses and performs with partners including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Barbican, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and the BBC.
