Job summary

Probe UK are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join their Inspection Laboratory. You will support the production team by ensuring components meet precise quality standards through meticulous measurement and reporting.

The role requires experience with CMM systems (Mitutoyo/MCOSMOS preferred), reading engineering drawings, and performing First Article Inspections. On offer is a 37.5 hour week, competitive salary, and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CMM Programmer in manufacturing/inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming components and sub-assemblies using the CMM.
• Perform First Article Inspections and document results.
• Carry out on-site inspections to ensure conformance with drawings.
• Generate inspection records and support quality assurance processes.
