Job summary

Syntech Recruitment Ltd in Bristol is seeking a CMM Technician/Engineer to support facility-based metrology. You will program, measure, and verify components using CMMs and dimensional metrology systems, delivering accurate results to ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

The role is full-time with a comprehensive benefits package. You will work with PC-DMIS, MCOSMOS, MODUS and related calibration software, and interact directly with clients to explain measurement results and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND/NVQ4 in engineering or equivalent.
• 3 years in precision metrology or inspection.
• Experience in ISO/IEC 17025 environments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CMM measurement programs.
• Perform high-precision dimensional inspections with CMMs and GD&T.
• Communicate results to customers and discuss inspection outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and UKAS-accredited procedures.
• Mentor Calibration Technicians, Operators and Apprentices.
