Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer for a permanent, full-time role in Northampton. You will operate CMM equipment, generate First Article and ISIR reports, and transfer programmes between measurement systems.

The ideal candidate has CMM experience (Mitutoyo MCOSMOS), GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100. Training and growth opportunities are available within a supportive metrology team.

Competenze

• CMM experience with measurement systems.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience with metrology techniques and first-principles measurement.
• Familiarity with MSA, Gauge R&R, ISO 9001/AS9100.
• Mitutoyo MCOSMOS experience preferred; Zeiss Calypso desirable.

CMM Programmer – Key responsibilities:

• Operate CMM equipment and support production with measurement requirements.
• Produce First Article and ISIR reports and support NPI projects.
• Develop and transfer CMM programmes between measurement systems.
• Investigate measurement issues and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions.
• Support and train the wider Metrology team.

CMM Programmer - Essential Skills & Experience:

• CMM experience, ideally with Mitutoyo MCOSMOS.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings and surface texture.
• Experience with first-principles measurement and metrology techniques.
• Knowledge of MSA, Gauge R&R, ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Zeiss Calypso experience is desirable, with piston experience advantageous.
