Job summary

GERRELL & HARD LIMITED is seeking a Metrologist / CMM Programmer in Abingdon to join a fast-paced engineering team. You will program and operate CMM equipment, develop inspection processes and support product development from prototype through to final QC.

The role focuses on precision metrology using Hexagon, PC-DMIS and Renishaw systems, with calibration management and record-keeping, driving continuous improvement within the metrology team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' CMM programming experience.
• Experience with PC-DMIS.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Join a cutting-edge advanced manufacturing business developing high-performance components for the aerospace, electronics and industrial sectors.

We're looking for an experienced CMM Programmer to play a key role in inspecting precision-engineered components and supporting product development from prototype through to final quality control. This is a varied, hands-on role working with the latest metrology equipment in a fast-paced engineering environment.

What you'll do

• Program and operate CMM equipment (Hexagon/PC-DMIS and Renishaw Agility/MODUS)
• Develop and improve CMM inspection processes
• Support engineering teams throughout product development

What we're looking for
