Job summary

Hyde Group in Hyde is seeking a dedicated CMM Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections using CMM equipment and MCOSMOS. You will also inspect products with conventional gauges and contribute to quality initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3, be comfortable reading drawings with GD&T, and have some programming knowledge. The role offers a clear path to lead the Inspection Department and career development within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be a time-served apprentice with NVQ Level 3 as a minimum.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and specifications.
• Able to create, edit and run CMM inspection programs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process and final parts using CMM machines and MCOSMOS.
• Support internal quality sessions to improve operator knowledge.
• Assist in Material Review Boards and non-conformance investigations.
• Potential to progress into a leadership role within the Inspection Department.
