Opened in April 2026 the hotel joined Hilton’s prestigious Curio Collection in the UK, a global set of remarkable upper upscale hotels handpicked for their unique character and personality - each one a part of the fabric of the city it calls home.
In the heart of London’s historic financial district, "The Derby" resonates with charm and sophistication. The name, inspired by the iconic bowler hat – affectionately known as a "Derby" – pays homage to the City’s storied banking heritage.
The Derby offers 234 contemporary bedrooms, including 13 suites with panoramic city views. Guests can enjoy modern British dining with a twist at Rycrofte's Restaurant, Coffee House and Bar, with options for private dining. The hotel also features boardroom-style meeting spaces for 10–20 delegates, fully equipped with the latest technology, all in the heart of London’s Square Mile.

Lost Property is the seventh Curio Collection hotel opened in London. Located on Ludgate Hill, just on the corner of St Paul’s cathedral, one of the most iconic London landmarks, Lost Property hotel has 145 bedrooms, a restaurant and bar called Found, a coffee house called Tattle, and a gym.

About The Role
We are looking for a Cluster Reservations Manager to lead the Reservations function across The Derby London City and Lost Property St. Paul’s, both part of Curio Collection by Hilton and managed by Dominus Hospitality.
Reporting to the Cluster Director of Revenue, you will oversee the day-to-day Reservations operation across both hotels, ensuring bookings are managed accurately and efficiently while delivering a consistently high level of guest service. Leading and developing the Reservations team, you will work closely with Revenue, Sales, Front Office, Housekeeping and the wider hotel teams to optimise availability, maximise revenue opportunities and ensure a seamless booking journey. This is a varied role combining people leadership, operational excellence and commercial awareness, with the opportunity to influence processes and drive improvements across both properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support and develop the Reservations team across both hotels, creating a collaborative, accountable and commercially focused working environment.
- Oversee the day-to-day Reservations operation, ensuring bookings, amendments, guest requests and associated tasks are handled accurately and efficiently.
- Coach and develop team members through regular feedback, one-to-ones, performance reviews and ongoing training.
- Work closely with the Cluster Director of Revenue to support pricing strategies, inventory controls and revenue optimisation across both properties.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of room @types, rates, packages and promotions, identifying opportunities to upsell and maximise ADR, occupancy and RevPAR.
- Ensure accurate management of reservations across PMS, CRS and OTA platforms, carrying out regular audits and identifying opportunities to improve processes and data accuracy.
- Manage escalated reservation enquiries, special requests, VIP bookings and complaints, ensuring a professional and guest-focused resolution.
- Work closely with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping and operational teams to communicate VIPs, special requirements and other information affecting the guest journey.
- Support the Cluster Groups Co-ordinator with group enquiries and bookings, including room blocks, rooming lists, deposits and billing requirements, while monitoring group wash and communicating potential risks.
- Monitor cancellations, no-shows, payment discrepancies and declined credit cards, ensuring appropriate follow-up and accurate reporting.
- Maintain OTA content and reservation channels in line with current hotel strategies, rates and promotions.
- Monitor departmental and hotel performance, contributing to commercial and operational meetings and identifying opportunities to improve revenue, efficiency and the guest experience.
- Ensure consistent application of Hilton brand standards, hotel procedures and relevant Health & Safety requirements across the Reservations function.
About You
- Previous experience managing or supervising a Reservations function within a hotel environment, with experience handling both individual and group reservations.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to coach, develop and motivate a team.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage priorities across two properties.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships across Revenue, Sales and hotel operations.
- Commercially minded, with a good understanding of how Reservations contributes to occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and overall hotel performance.
- Confident working with PMS, CRS and OTA extranets, with strong general IT skills.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to review processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Previous Hilton experience, including PEP, and/or cluster or multi-property experience would be an advantage.
