Cluster Marketing & Communications Manager

Property: COMO Metropolitan London / COMO The Halkin

Position: Cluster Marketing & Communications Manager

Reports to: Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing

Role: The Cluster Marketing & Communications Manager will lead marketing and communications for both properties, overseeing channels related to guest relations, sales, promotions, and PR coordination. The focus will be on increasing B2B and B2C awareness to drive revenue, working closely with the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing and all departments.

Tasks / Responsibilities:

  1. Create the annual marketing & PR calendar and budget as part of the annual planning process.
  2. Execute the marketing and PR calendar in collaboration with the Singapore marketing team, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  3. Monitor and manage marketing expenses.
  4. Develop and implement tactical promotions aligned with business needs.
  5. Build strategic partnerships to enhance local business and brand awareness.
  6. Plan and oversee all photography related to the hotels and residences, maintaining budget control.
  7. Manage promotional event planning at the properties.
  8. Lead the London property’s sales efforts, ensuring effective B2B communication within feeder markets.
  9. Maintain and update B2B platforms regularly.
  10. Coordinate with social and digital teams in London and Singapore to ensure campaign alignment and proactive online engagement.
  11. Collaborate with COMO’s creative team for internal communications.
  12. Handle press inquiries and coordinate with operational departments as needed.
  13. Assist in preparing monthly marketing reports.
  14. Coordinate with Singapore to publish regular print articles in consumer and industry press.
  15. Work with Digital Marketing Manager and Singapore team to ensure engaging, ROI-focused content across media channels.
  16. Develop promotional content, including copy and photography, for sales materials.
  17. Ensure signage and guest communications align with brand standards.
  18. Participate actively in communications and sales & marketing meetings.
  19. Create an activity calendar supporting F&B outlets and the Shambala Spa.
  20. Organize activations and events in London restaurants and bars to attract influencers and guests.
  21. Manage a team comprising 1 Executive and 1 Coordinator, aligned with COMO’s values.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years experience in luxury hotel marketing.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Relevant education in Hospitality, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Strong team player with excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
