The Cluster Lead Pharmacy Technician will play an integral role in the GM Medicines Optimisation team, shaping the future of pharmacy and medicines optimisation across Greater Manchester.
They will use their experience, knowledge, and skills to build credibility with partners, ensuring high-quality, safe services. They will motivate, inspire, and collaborate to support NHS GM's transformation and development.
The post involves leading cluster working arrangements for medicines optimisation across locality teams and ensuring delivery of strategies and operational plans.
The post holder will develop operational plans for Greater Manchester, supporting integrated working, transformational change, and managing technical input in a complex public sector environment across organizational boundaries.

Coordinate the development and delivery of the cluster medicines optimisation plan.
Lead the integration of pharmacy and place-based partnerships within the cluster.
Contribute to strategic planning, identifying project interdependencies, impacts, and resource requirements.
Develop performance and governance strategies, and implement improvement programs aligned with locality and PCN priorities.
Manage technical resources across the cluster according to work plans.
Support team members' workload management and personal development, including mandatory training.
Assist portfolio and cluster leads in devising work plans for place-based medicines optimisation teams.
Participate in strategic planning for the upcoming financial year, making adjustments as needed.
