Job summary

Oasis Academy Daventry Road is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support daily site operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for students and staff.

You will undertake general maintenance, assist with opening/closing, health and safety checks, grounds upkeep and room setup for events, while coordinating with contractors and addressing maintenance issues promptly.

About the Role

As Facilities Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the academy site, helping to ensure our students and staff benefit from a clean, safe and well-maintained environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking general maintenance and basic repairs across the academy.
• Supporting the opening, closing and security of the site.
• Carrying out routine health and safety checks.
• Assisting with grounds maintenance and site presentation.
• Setting up rooms and equipment for academy events and activities.
• Working alongside contractors and supporting improvement projects.
• Responding promptly to maintenance issues as they arise.
• Helping to maintain a positive environment that reflects the high standards of the academy.
