Job summary

Oasis Academy Daventry Road is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support daily site operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for students and staff.

You will undertake general maintenance, assist with opening/closing, health and safety checks, grounds upkeep and room setup for events, while coordinating with contractors and addressing maintenance issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance and basic repairs.
• Reliable, organized and able to work independently.
• Proactive approach to solving problems and maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general maintenance and basic repairs across the academy.
• Support opening, closing and security of the site.
• Carry out routine health and safety checks and maintain grounds and presentation.
• Set up rooms and equipment for events and activities.
• Litter/contractor coordination and respond to maintenance issues promptly.
