Job summary

Edgbaston Priory Club is seeking a reliable Male Housekeeper to join the Operations team in Birmingham. You will focus on keeping male changing rooms, showers and washrooms clean, sanitised and well-stocked, while supporting overall club facilities.

The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented and professional individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 40 hours per week on-site with a closing date of 4 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning/housekeeping experience, preferably in leisure or hotel settings.
• Reliable and detail-focused with a professional demeanor.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Context requires a male housekeeper for privacy under Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning across club areas, including vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces.
• Keep facilities clean, hygienic and well-presented for members and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of male changing rooms, showers and washrooms, stocked with supplies.
• Conduct regular checks and promptly attend to areas needing cleaning or attention.
• Provide friendly, attentive service and respond to member queries.
• Report maintenance concerns or hazards to management promptly.
• Follow health and safety procedures for cleaning products and equipment.
• Represent the club professionally, upholding its values of Excellence, Inclusivity and Community.
