Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is looking for a Childcare Setting Manager at Basildon Sporting Village to lead our Breakfast & After School Clubs, and Holiday Clubs. You’ll supervise a small team, create safe, engaging sessions for children aged 4–11, and build strong links with schools and families.
This split-shift role runs mornings and afternoons with a break, and opportunities to increase hours during Holiday Club seasons.

At Junior Adventures Group (JAG), we’re looking for passionate people to lead our Breakfast & After School Clubs (and Holiday Clubs too!) where play, creativity, and connection come together.
As a Childcare Setting Manager, you’ll be at the heart of one of our children’s activity clubs, creating safe, exciting, and enriching experiences for children aged 4–11. You’ll lead a small team, build strong relationships with schools and families, and deliver a mix of sports, arts, games, and structured play every single day!
This could be a great first step into management.
This role is split shift, meaning you’ll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.
You may have worked as a Sports Coach, Teaching Assistant (TA), Playworker, Drama/Dance Instructor, NCS Leader, Scout Leader, Nursery Manager, SEN Support, Dinner Lady, Student, or even as a parent wanting a new career in childcare.
