Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking a Childcare Setting Manager to lead Breakfast & After School Clubs, plus Holiday Clubs, for children aged 4-11 in Derby. You’ll supervise a small team, liaise with schools and families, and deliver a mix of sports, arts, games, and structured play daily.
This role is split shifts in term time, with potential for extra hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover. A rewarding first step into management awaits in a fun, supportive environment.

As a Childcare Setting Manager, you'll be at the heart of one of our children's activity clubs, creating safe, exciting, and enriching experiences for children aged 4-11. You'll lead a small team, build strong relationships with schools and families, and deliver a mix of sports, arts, games, and structured play every single day!

This role is split shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You'll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.
You may have worked as a Sports Coach, Teaching Assistant (TA), Playworker, Drama/Dance Instructor, NCS Leader, Scout Leader, Nursery Manager, SEN Support, Dinner Lady, Student, or even as a parent wanting a new career in childcare.
This role requires compliance with theKeeping Children Safe in Educationpolicy and is exempt from theRehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable). We will conduct a DBS check on your behalf, so please prepare the correct documentation. You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the hiring process.
