Job summary

Goals Soccer Centres PLC is seeking a Maintenance Person (Caretaker) for Tolworth, as part of the team responsible for day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the site. The role covers pitches, grounds and club facilities, with focus on safety, cleanliness and high standards of presentation.

You will work with the General Manager and contractors to proactively identify issues, perform repairs, and plan works to minimise disruption for customers and club operations.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will have previous caretaker, maintenance, facilities or grounds experience.
• Good general maintenance and DIY skills.
• Sports, leisure or grounds maintenance experience is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• Good awareness of Health & Safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Club, pitches, grounds and external areas for maintenance and safety issues.
• Carry out repairs to fixtures, fittings and basic carpentry, plumbing, roofing or electrical work where competent.
• Perform painting, decorating and deep cleaning as required.
• Maintain pitches (grass and artificial surfaces) and surrounding areas to a high standard.
• Engage with contractors for specialist maintenance and obtain quotations as needed.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are followed and records maintained.
