Job summary

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is seeking a motivated Club Development Officer to support the growth of inclusive local sports clubs across the authority area. The post holder will work with clubs, volunteers and partner organisations to strengthen capacities and participation.

You will advise on governance, volunteer recruitment and retention, safeguarding, inclusion and club planning, and help evidence impact, develop coach pathways and build relationships with schools, Active Schools and sporting

Qualifications

• Must have a degree or equivalent transferable experience.
• Full current driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• PVG Scheme membership is a legal requirement for this role with children.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support local sports clubs on governance, volunteer recruitment and retention, safeguarding, inclusion and club planning.
