A grassroots sports software provider in the UK seeks a Club Development Specialist to strengthen affiliated clubs' capacity. This role involves providing tailored support, overseeing project planning, funding access, and governance for clubs engaged in key development initiatives. Essential skills include project planning, strong communication, and understanding community sports dynamics. Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of managing or supporting football clubs in capital development projects.
• Experience of successfully securing funding for significant capital projects.
• Understanding of the community and voluntary sector and volunteer-led sports organisations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clubs undertaking development projects.
• Support clubs to develop clear project plans and timelines.
• Help clubs identify and access appropriate resources for their projects.
• Support clubs to implement appropriate governance arrangements for their projects.
• Engage effectively with partners and resolve barriers.
• Monitor progress against project milestones.
• Support clubs to plan for long-term sustainability of projects.
• Maintain records of supported clubs and projects.
