Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting a Cloud Technical Delivery Specialist for the Smart Meter Programme. The role supports cloud-based Smart Metering platforms, working across Azure environments and large-scale data integrations.

Location options include Ipswich, Crawley or London with 2/3 days on site. You'll collaborate with architects, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient platforms that scale for future demand within Critical National Infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cloud technology projects (Azure/AWS or similar).
• Experience with complex infrastructure or platform environments.
• Experience with large-scale transformation or data migration programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivery, enhancement and ongoing operation of cloud-based Smart Metering platforms across Azure environments and large-scale data platforms.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, technology partners and business stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient platforms.
• Ensure platforms remain secure, scalable and fit for future demand in Critical National Infrastructure.
• Engage in enterprise integrations and support continuous cloud modernization in the Smart Metering programme.

Permanent Role: Cloud Technical Delivery Specialist | Smart Meter Programme

Location: Ipswich, Crawley or London | 2/3 days a week on site

Package: £75,000+ base salary, Up to 15% annual bonus, Double pension contribution up to 10% from the employer, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and guaranteed pay rise every year.

As a Cloud Technical Delivery Specialist, you'll play a key role in the delivery, enhancement and ongoing operation of cloud-based Smart Metering platforms, working across Azure environments, large-scale data platforms and complex technology integrations.

The Role

You'll work closely with architects, engineers, technology partners and business stakeholders to deliver and support critical Smart Meter infrastructure, ensuring platforms remain secure, resilient and fit for future demand.

About You

We're interested in speaking with professionals who can demonstrate experience in:

Previous exposure to Smart Metering, utilities, energy or regulated environments would be advantageous but isn't essential.
