Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Systems Engineer for Cryptography, Access and Identity Services to design, build and operate critical cryptographic and identity systems at scale in AWS.You will lead engineering efforts, automate operations, and apply rigorous metrics to improve service capacity and reliability.

Ideal candidates have Linux and SRE/DevOps background, strong problem solving, and a passion for reducing toil in a large, global, cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, DevOps, or related disciplines.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash).

Responsibilities

• Lead teams as subject‑matter experts on multiple AWS services and own the lifecycle of services.
• Develop, deploy, operate, sustain and grow services in cloud production environments.
• Use trends and metrics to identify improvements and automate manual processes for Operational Excellence.
