Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Solution Architect to design and implement scalable IT solutions across AWS, Oracle, and Microsoft platforms. You will align technology with business goals, mentor teams, and drive enterprise-wide improvements.

The role involves governance, design authority participation, and ensuring security and data protection across projects, with hybrid working and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Proficient in designing scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Oracle and Microsoft.
• Experience in governance activities (DPIA, VDD, TDA) and due diligence.
• Ability to mentor less experienced colleagues and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable, secure cloud-based architectures across multiple platforms.
• Produce High Level Designs (HLD) for projects or programs.
• Lead governance activities and support Work Winning on IT elements.
• Ensure integration of enterprise software with existing IT architecture.
• Ensure security compliance and data protection across solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
