Job summary

Allstate NI is seeking a Cloud Product Security Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-native security controls across cloud platforms and data services. You will own CSPM/DLP capabilities and integrate security across CI/CD pipelines and enterprise services.

Responsibilities include building preventative, detective, and responsive security controls, collaborating with platform engineers and product teams, and supporting incident detection and response. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional software or security engineering experience in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience building security controls in AWS or Azure.
• Experience with CSPM, DLP, or data protection capabilities.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and security integration.
• Experience with IaC, automated testing, CI/CD.
• Ability to collaborate with platform engineers and product teams.
• Legal right to work in the UK; Allstate sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native security controls across cloud resources.
• Maintain CSPM and DLP capabilities to detect and reduce risk.
• Integrate security controls with CI/CD and enterprise services.
• Integrate with SIEM for detection and incident response.
• Support incident handling and response with automation.
• Apply IaC and automated testing to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with platform engineers, application teams, and Product Managers.
• This role has supervisory responsibilities and serves as the first level manager for a team of engineers.
