Job Description:

Overview: This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a Cloud Security Engineer to join a leading tech organisation. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days onsite in Liverpool and 3 days remote.

Responsibilities:

• Act as security authority for existing M365 and Azure environments, advocating best practices such as CIS.
• Hands-on engineering with Azure, M365, and E5 suite.
• Manage security aspects of Windows, Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, firewalls, and network hardening.
• Implement and manage DLP solutions; experience with Zscaler and Darktrace is a plus.
• Conduct security investigations, especially related to email.
• Utilize E5 security tools including Defender, Entra ID, Sentinel, etc.
• Experience in the financial services sector is desirable but not essential.

Key Skills: Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer in M365 and Azure, with expertise in E5 Suite, Zscaler, and CIS best practices.

Desirable: Microsoft Certifications.
