Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer – M365, Azure, E5, CIS

This is a contract opportunity with a leading tech organization, offering a hybrid work arrangement with 2 days onsite in Liverpool and 3 days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as security authority for M365 and Azure environments, promoting best practices such as CIS.
• Hands-on engineering in Azure, M365, and E5 suite.
• Ensure security across Windows, Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, firewalls, and network infrastructure.
• Implement and manage DLP solutions; experience with Zscaler and Darktrace is a plus.
• Conduct security investigations, especially related to email security.
• Utilize E5 security tools like Defender, Entra ID, Sentinel, etc.

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience as a Cloud Security Engineer in M365 and Azure environments.
• Knowledge of CIS best practices.
• Experience with Zscaler, DLP, EntraID, and related security tools.
• Strong understanding of network security, server hardening, and infrastructure security.

Desirable Skills:

• Microsoft Certifications.
