Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to be the cloud security expert for public and hybrid cloud deployments.

The role focuses on designing vendor-neutral security blueprints, building reference architectures, and delivering paid consulting services and proofs of concepts from the Fortinet portfolio. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in cloud/security roles, hands-on cloud platform experience, and strong communication skills to present to customers and analysts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in SE/Consulting SE/Solution Architect roles in Cloud, Networking, Infra, or Cybersecurity.
• Hands-on with two or more Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/NSX).
• Proficiency with modern software architecture, CI/CD, IaC, APIs, and automation.
• Programming experience in Python or Java; strong security and architecture skills.
• Public Cloud certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP) recommended.
• Experience building AI-enabled applications and serverless/container architectures.
• Excellent presentation and technical writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud security designs and implementations.
• Become a Fortinet cloud solutions expert and reference architecture author.
• Deliver demos and technical webinars; conduct customer meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Provide custom architecture and automation code per customer needs.
• Publish whitepapers and blogs; contribute to NSE course materials and training.
