Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years experience in managing and scaling distributed systems
• Experience with Kubernetes, Nginx, Envoy, Prometheus, and Docker
• Strong automation and programming skills (Java, Go, Python, or Perl)
• Ability to write code and improve systems with scalability in mind

Responsibilities

• Deploy, support and monitor new and existing services, platforms, and stacks.
• Use scale testing to measure, tune and optimize system performance.
• Enhance and deliver software to improve availability, scalability and security of Apple services.
• Build and run systems through automation.
• Participate in periodic on-call duties.
