Job summary

Fruition Group in Ipswich is seeking a Cloud Platform Lead to design and implement the Azure platform, landing zones and hosting architectures. You will drive security, resilience, and FinOps while leading cloud migration efforts and shaping engineering standards across the technology function.

The role requires 7+ years of Azure experience, IaC ownership (Terraform/Bicep/ARM) and end-to-end CI/CD delivery, with a hybrid on-site pattern and a competitive up-to-£80,000 salary plus a discretionary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Azure platform engineering experience.
• Proven delivery of cloud migration and modernisation programmes.
• Experience with IaC and end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong networking, identity (Entra ID) and cloud security knowledge.
• Experience in ITIL-aligned service organisations.
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305) desirable.

Cloud Platform Lead
Ipswich | Up to £80,000 | Permanent | Hybrid - 3 days on site

This is a build role, not a maintenance one. You'll be the lead cloud engineer for the business, reporting to the Head of Infrastructure & Service, designing the Azure platform from the ground up and helping shape the engineering standards the wider technology function works to. There's no existing cloud team, you'll build the capability and grow a team around you as it scales. If you want to point at a platform in two years and say you built it, this is that job.

Package

• Up to £80,000, plus discretionary bonus (typically 3-5%)
• Hybrid working - 3 days per week on site in Glasgow city centre
