Job summary

Corriculo is seeking a Software Engineer to join an innovative advanced manufacturing company near Oxford. You will develop robust software platforms in C++/Python, deploy in the cloud, and integrate diverse tools within a scalable infrastructure.

You’ll work with AWS/Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, and modern front/backend stacks (Vue, TypeScript, Django) in a fast-growing environment focused on real-world technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C++ and Python.
• Experience building complex software systems or platforms.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Experience integrating third-party tools, APIs, or simulation software is a plus.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure are desirable.
• Familiarity with containerisation tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Full-stack development experience (Vue, TypeScript, Django) is beneficial.
• Experience with engineering, scientific, or simulation-driven applications (e.g. CFD/FEA) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop modular software components using C++/C# and Python.
• Integrate external tools and services within a secure cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into production-ready software.
• Contribute to software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
