Job summary

A Cloud Platform Engineer is needed for a 6-month hybrid role based in Milton Keynes. The position involves migrating applications to public cloud platforms, deploying DevSecOps tooling, and automating infrastructure with Terraform or Bicep.

A strong focus on Azure and cloud security is required, with experience in Government security standards and Zero Trust principles. The role is inside IR35 at a daily rate of £600, with hybrid work (40% office-based).

Qualifications

• Experience in Build and Migration of Applications to Public Cloud Platforms
• Deployment of DevSecOps tooling and development of infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep
• Deep understanding of Cloud Security principles and Zero Trust Architectures
• Agile Delivery using standard DevSecOps toolchains
• Knowledge of UK government security frameworks (NCSC, GDS, and the Technology Code of Practice)

Cloud Platform Engineer

Experience:

• Proven experience in Build and Migration of Applications and Services to Public Cloud Platforms, Operation and Deployment of DevSecOps tooling and development of infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep.


• Deep understanding of Cloud Security principles and Zero Trust Architectures.


• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Building Cloud Platforms, Migrating Applications to Cloud Platforms.


• Agile Delivery using standard DevSecOps toolchains


• Knowledge of NCSC, GDS, and UK government security frameworks, including Secure by Design, Cloud Security Principles, Government Functional Standards, and the Technology Code of Practice.
