Job summary

Accenture Software & Platform Engineering in Manchester is seeking a Software Engineer to join a team delivering traditional and serverless applications in an agile setting. You will work with Java, Typescript, Python, Go, C#, and modern JS frameworks to build cloud-native services and data integrations.

Onsite collaboration with clients is required; experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments is essential.

Qualifications

• Several years of industry experience in one or more of Java, Typescript, Python, Go, C#, React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte.
• Experience with Cloud Native technologies (AWS preferred; familiarity with Azure or GCP a plus).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, Pulumi) and building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD).
• Strong focus on accessibility, security, performance and caching in code.

Responsibilities

• Develop traditional and serverless applications and services in an agile environment with integration to data storage services and messaging.
• Deploy applications using containers to cloud with CI/CD and observable production runtimes.
• Ensure quality through documentation and unit/integration/contract testing with security/performance considerations.
