Job summary

Capgemini in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate secure, scalable AWS-based infrastructures. You will automate deployments, implement IaC, and collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver critical services.

Hybrid working arrangements apply, with a mix of office, client site and home working. The role requires security-conscious engineering, strong automation skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience deploying and managing AWS cloud infrastructure in secure environments.
  • Strong IaC skills with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • Hands-on CI/CD experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups).
  • Experience with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust security models.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities

About the job your consideringAs an Cloud DevOps Engineer in our Cloud & Custom Applications practice, you will work on mission-critical systems that require high availability, security, and scalability.
