Job summary

Grid Dynamics in London seeks an accomplished Data Architect to lead design of a cloud-native data platform for insurance analytics. You will shape conceptual, logical, and physical models, and steer ingestion pipelines across batch and streaming workloads.

You will collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to align governance, security, and GDPR standards, using AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure to deliver scalable solutions in a hybrid on-site setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven data architecture experience in a global enterprise.
• Deep knowledge of Insurance, Reinsurance or Broking data and London Market workflows.
• Hands-on design of cloud-native architectures on AWS/Snowflake/Databricks/Azure.
• Proficient in SQL and one or more programming languages (Python/Scala).
• Experience with Data Vault, 3NF and dimensional modeling.
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders and executives.
• Hybrid on-site work in London.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a scalable, cloud-native data platform.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for insurance workflows.
• Architect data ingestion and integration pipelines (batch, streaming, API).
• Drive platform engineering using AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Establish data governance, security, and GDPR compliance standards.
