Job summary

Babble in the United Kingdom is seeking an Integration Engineer to build and maintain APIs and integrations across our partner and customer ecosystems. You will bridge systems using .NET and modern integration patterns.

You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to design data contracts, ensure secure data exchange, and contribute to a resilient, observable platform. A strong background in REST, security, and CI/CD is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with API development: designing, building, versioning, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of security concepts for integrations and APIs.
• Experience with authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API keys.
• Familiar with JSON/XML, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging across system boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between internal and external systems using .NET (C#, .NET Core/6+).
• Build and consume RESTful APIs, and other interfaces; maintain API versioning and security.
• Implement secure authentication across integration points (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Troubleshoot integration failures and data mismatches in development and production.
• Monitor production integrations with logging, alerts, and observability.
