Job summary

Social Security Scotland is hiring a Business Analyst to join the Engineering and Cloud Service branch within the Digital, Delivery & Change division. You will bridge business and technical stakeholders to ensure cloud infrastructure and integration solutions meet organisational needs.

Working within an agile environment, you will develop requirements, support service design and delivery, and mentor others while promoting best practices across government services.

Qualifications

• Experience of business and technical analysis in an Agile/digital project environment.
• Experience applying stakeholder management techniques that influence decisions within product or delivery teams.
• Knowledge of Government Digital and Data Profession capabilities and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of the organisation's cloud infrastructure and integration services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce and maintain analysis outputs (requirements, specs, user stories, options appraisals).
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with customers, project teams and delivery partners.
• Lead business and technical analysis activities for small to medium initiatives and support larger programmes.
